Donald Trump has announced he will raise tariffs on cars from the European Union to 25 per cent.
In a post to Truth Social, the US President has accused the EU of not complying with the current trade deal, although he didn't explain how.
Talks about a new agreement have stalled over a dispute about steel and aluminium.

The EU previously agreed to a 15 per cent tax on most European goods.
