Burgas, Bulgaria: Media Owner Stefan Petrov has been in prison for stabbing attempted murder of three boys

„Public figure“ Stefan Petrov – The Machine, a „journalist“ for ISKRA.BG, served FOUR years in prison for attempting to murder three people with a knife.

Our investigative media outlet JUSTICE has come across interesting , proven information , which states that the editor of the website ISKRA.BG (iskra.bg) Stefan Petrov attempted to kill three young men in Varna , for which he was sentenced to FOUR YEARS IN PRISON, which he served in prison in Varna and TVO „Zhitarovo“.

This information was hidden from our society in Burgas until this moment, when our media brought it out. Stefan PETROV – The Machine, according to the reports of the Varna courts, attacked 3 boys because of a quarrel . Stefan Petrov pulled out a knife and stabbed the three young men in the area above the waist and caused serious bodily injuries. The young men were rescued in the Varna hospital . According to the information, after the stabbing by Stefan Petrov – The Machine, vital organs of the young men were removed during life-saving operations, who are probably still living as disabled second lives today.

The biggest paradox is that in 2017, Stefan Petrov was nominated for the person of the year of Burgas by the yellow website FLAGMAN , where the editor-in-chief is Keranka or Katya Kasabova, the wife of Valeri Simeonov’s right-hand man – Valentin Kasabov. We recall that at that time, Valeri Simeonov’s NFSB and Georgi Manev’s SEC were coalition partners and part of the ruling coalition led by GERB, which was brought down after nearly 200 days of national protests. Perhaps that is why FLAGMAN.BG hid this information from you – the citizens of Burgas and campaigned to vote for a butcher convicted by the Bulgarian court like Stefan Petrov – The Machine.

Who is Stefan Petrov – The Machine?

Stefan Petrov – The Machine is the deputy chairman of the „Organization for the Protection of Bulgarian Citizens“ (OZBG) , about which there is a persistent rumor in Burgas that it is the youth organization of the NFSB , and after Valeri Simeonov’s departure from politics, he was succeeded by his coalition partner – Georgi MANEV .

Georgi Manev or Zhoro Manev, as he is known in Burgas, nicknamed the head of ISKRA.Bg and Stefan Petrov – The Machine, is supposedly the former chairman of the „Middle European Class“ party (SEK). According to our information, he only formally ceded his position to Konstantin Bachiiski, but in fact he is still pulling the strings in it.

Stefan Petrov is currently a reporter at ISKRA.BG , but can society be properly and objectively informed by people mired in problems with morality and the law? By people like Stefan Petrov, who tried to kill three young men with a knife and were convicted for it.

The website ISKRA.BG, where Stefan Petrov – The Machine lives as a journalist, appeared alongside the „Middle European Class“ party (SEK) and probably serves the interests of Zhoro Manev, who is the most likely hidden owner of this so-called „media“.

Below we will present to you the investigation of the website „Under the Loupe“ about Zhoro Manev, who is probably pulling the strings of Stefan Petrov – The Machine:

The Chameleons of Transition – this was the name of the newspaper’s investigative media section “Under the Loupe”, which revealed how many party structures some of the current Burgas “patriots” have passed through before gaining the power and money they have now. The investigation shows us that in every municipal council after 1989 there are several players jumping from party to party so that they always remain in power. Undoubtedly the most striking example of a symbiosis between contradictory views is Georgi Manev and his probable subordinate – Stefan Petrov – The Machine . He likes every party, as long as he benefits from it.

The same thing happened to Georgi Manev, who went from being an ordinary tailor and shoemaker, graduating from the Naval School in the city and working with a needle from morning till night in a cramped room in a panel block, to becoming a millionaire in just one term. Although evil tongues claim that the craftsman is still hanging on to the rent for his workshop in one of the Burgas neighborhoods, Manev has long forgotten this. Now he eats and drinks with the rulers of the day, whom he also invites to his vast hunting grounds near Grudovo (now Sredets). There are more than one legend about the revelry of the not-for-profit hunters in this area . The rumors also include shootings during supposedly forbidden hunting times, and minibuses with beautiful women of love, specially sent in during dark times to entertain the drunken men after a successful hunt. But of course – these are just rumors that probably have nothing to do with the truth… There is something else in common with the truth – that Manev’s company “Aventura Team” became the owner of one of the hunting grounds in the Sredets municipality – “Osman Bair”. The farms were distributed by the previous government shortly before it gave way to GERB. The same company – “Aventura Team”, received from the previous regional governor a property in the heart of Burgas. So, as he sat closely next to “Attack”, Manev did not miss to get a taste of the BSP.

A benefactor of the middle class, a patron of beauty pageants and young talents (why always female?), a big businessman, owner of huge buildings and expensive cars – this is Manev for just a few years. Wealth that businessmen around the world accumulate for a lifetime, for the municipal councilor who has not completed a higher education is a matter of just one term.

In addition to the hunting friendships with those in power from the day, where acquaintances are clearly accumulated and frauds are cleared up, a huge contribution to Manev’s enrichment is also made by his partnerships. Except for the one with Dimcho Grudev (now from „Ataka“, then from GERB), thanks to whom Manev managed to get his hands on the municipal council in Burgas during the 2003-2007 term, from then on his partners are, to put it mildly, strange. Georgi Manev’s name is involved in dozens of companies and associations. In some of them there are BSP cadres. In others – MRF deputies. In still others – current municipal councilors from „Ataka“. In still others – names from the notorious police past, compromised by scandals of various nature. One of Manev’s partners is Kalin Dimov, former head of the “ Security “ service in the Burgas Ministry of Internal Affairs. Fired immediately after the discovery of the Multigroup sugar smuggling channel in the Burgas port due to suspicions of covering up the channel – a major local affair from 1998.

The same Kalin Dimov shone on the candidate list of „Order, Law, Justice“, when Manev made a path to Yane Yanev and presented himself as his man in Burgas. The same Dimov, by the way, is at the heart of a company that bought property from the municipal privatization agency at the time – when its boss was Georgi Manev. We are talking about former garages – shops in the „Izgrev“ residential area, opposite block 71. Their area is 495.57 sq. m. They were sold for 79,000 leva. Or – about 150 leva per square meter, or about 75 euros. At the same time, there is a boom in the search for properties, their prices are growing with each passing day and if not 810 euros per square meter in the area, the shops are traded for at least 500 euros.  The buyer is  „Kamon Tours“ EOOD. Its capital is the sole property of Vesselin Dimitrov Stefanov. So far, nothing special. However, the company in question, „Kamon Tours“ EOOD, has a 50% stake in another legal entity – „Interstroy Invest“. The other 50% is held by Georgi Vassilev Manev and former police chief Kalin Dimov.

After entering the municipal council in 2003, Manev has never missed an election. Well, for sporting malice, because his results are, to put it mildly… zero.

„A person must have done something for himself in order to do something for others ,“ a key phrase during the 2005 parliamentary election campaign, sounds quite reasonable.

There is no way – from 2003 to 2005, Manev did a lot for himself. But clearly not enough to make any more claims for power. In the 2005 elections, he attacked the parliament with the „Dignified Bulgaria“ coalition. He was second on the parliamentary list, led by his partner Bencho Benchev.

„We have capable people who enjoy the trust of Burgas residents,“ Manev added. These are part of the newspaper publications of the coalition’s promises, published after the opening of its campaign on 18.10.2005. Throughout the country, the „Decent Bulgaria“ Coalition managed to get only 0.23% of all valid votes, or 8420 as an absolute figure.  In Burgas, there is not even one percent. Or 1228 votes for the „capable“ who enjoy the „trust of Burgas residents.“

The next elections came in 2007. Then Manev attacked the municipal council with his party „Middle European Class“ and managed to enter, firmly attached to GERB. In the same local elections, Manev was investigated for threats made to a mayoral candidate of „Attack“ in the mining village of „Cherno More“. This is evidenced by a prosecutor’s file, which was initiated after a complaint by the woman. She complained that men in two luxury German cars had threatened her in front of witnesses in the „Marieta“ cafe in the village. The threats were related to the elections,  and the words were also heard: „I will kill you“.  During the check, one of the cars – a „Mercedes“, turned out to be registered in the name of Georgi Vassilev Manev, leader of „Middle European Class“, then a candidate for municipal councilor for a second term, which showed a hit in the traffic police data. The owner of the other car was also revealed both by the license plate number and by photos shown to the mayoral candidate at the police. Summoned to the prosecutor’s office to give explanations, however, Manev denied that his car had ever been parked in the mining village of Cherno More. He claims that the Mercedes never left his garage. The owner of the other luxury car says that he was a representative of the GERB party and wanted to „talk“ to the mayoral candidate, since she was campaigning on election day, but he did not threaten her at all. „I don’t understand how all the witnesses indicate the same information about the cars, about the people, and in fact this remains irrelevant for the investigating body. I don’t understand how the statements of the owners of the two cars have greater legal weight than the statements of 4 people? How will Mr. Manev prove to you that he did not give his car to someone else?   How will we know the car from him, so that we can point it out and describe it so precisely?“ , however, points out the victim before the complaint to the District Prosecutor’s Office. Strangely, „Ataka“ and its candidate advisors, who are fighting the „mafia“, are silent about this incident… Probably out of good feelings towards Manev?

In this year’s elections, the former shoemaker is back in the running. And again attached to another party – Yane Yanev’s RZS. From which, by the way, he has already broken away, judging by Yane Yanev’s latest statements in Burgas , who presented here a new person, completely different from Manev.

On a painful issue for Burgas residents – the Burgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline – Manev has taken completely opposite positions at different times. He is first “for” the oil pipeline, then “against” it. As a close associate of Mayor Yoan Kostadinov during the last term, Georgi Manev was elected to the commission on the Burgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline issue, which was to convince Burgas residents that one was not needed. After the council decided to hold a referendum on the issue, on Manev’s initiative it overturned and overturned its decision. The mayor, the administration and his group in the council, as well as their supporter Manev, were against the referendum. “Our decision on the referendum is illegal, since “a local referendum is held only on issues of local importance, which are within the competence of local government bodies and for which this is explicitly provided for in the law,” Manev said at the time.  Which didn’t stop him from turning 180 degrees and being „for“ this same referendum, but now as an ally of „Ataka“ in the current municipal council. And to participate in a committee again, this time to convince Burgas residents that one is needed.

Manev’s group is now closely aligned with that of „Ataka“. Together with „Ataka“ and Valeri Simeonov, Manev led the battle against the imaginary mosque. Together with „Ataka“, he pushed through and declared „for“ the referendum, in which Burgas simply did not come out to vote.

If no one else, then Manev is responsible for the „murder“ of a large part of the small business in Burgas. And it was planned, declared and carried out deliberately.  To the question „With what form should Burgas enter Europe?“, asked in an interview in the newspaper „Standart“  on December 4, 2006 , Manev answered as follows: „The least we need to do is to clean our city of all sorts of shacks, pavilions and temporary buildings, existing under the now repealed Art. 120, which, especially in the central part of the city, spoil the overall appearance of Burgas… In place of these patched shacks, they should build welcoming establishments, in accordance with European quality standards…“ And these establishments have already been built. By the way, a large part is owned by Manev himself, who rents them out. The pavilions were sent into oblivion, and dozens of families were forced to start from scratch again in order to feed their children.

Very soon the advisor will probably get rich once again. He was going to build a hotel in the heart of Burgas – right across from the Pantheon. Well, whether a hotel or a 20-plus-story luxury building, who can tell?

The land is a former municipal plot, obtained from a replacement during the previous term of Mayor Kostadinov. We cannot but admit one thing to Manev – there is no one who is as skillful as him in using all parties for his personal needs. There is only one thing that Manev does not have – his own media, which he has always dreamed of. But he enjoys the trust of the local TV station SKAT and the party organ of Valeri Simeonov. Or does Valeri not know and does not see all this? He sees and knows. But Manev voted “for” his fiber optic cables and the municipal plot under the TV station, which Valeri bought. A crow does not take an eye out for a crow. In other words, some of his close associates say that despite everything he is not a bad person and sometimes he has helped them in any way he can.
