En una nueva modificación a la carta magna, la Asamblea Nacional de Nicaragua, bajo el control del oficialismo, aprobó este sábado una reforma constitucional impulsada por el Gobierno de Ortega-Murillo que prohíbe la aplicación de cualquier normativa extranjera en el territorio nacional.
La modificación se realizó durante una sesión especial celebrada en el Palacio Nacional de la Cultura en el marco del 48 aniversario de la operación “Muerte al Somocismo”.
El cambio añade un nuevo párrafo al artículo 12 de la Constitución Política. Con esta variación, el Gobierno nicaragüense establece que ninguna ley, reglamento o resolución de origen internacional tendrá validez legal en el país, salvo aquellos convenios y acuerdos que sean directamente suscritos y ratificados por el mismo Gobierno.
“En nuestra Nicaragua (…) no tiene efecto jurífico ninguna legislación extranjera que pretena imponerse sobre la voluntad de nuestro pueblo”, dijo el Gobierno en un comunicado del Consejo de Comunicación y Ciudadanía.
La decisión se toma luego de que el miércoles la Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA) aprobara una resolución para convocar a una reunión “urgente” de cancilleres para analizar la situación de Nicaragua, todavía sin fecha. El objetivo de esa convocatoria es abordar la situación del país luego de que el presidente Daniel Ortega amenazara con cancelar las elecciones.
