(NewsNation) — Six months after Virginia Giuffre died by suicide at the age of 41, she is getting the final word in a cruel and revolting scandal that sucked her in when she was still in her mid-teens, and which never entirely let her go.
Giuffre, who previously alleged she was trafficked to Prince Andrew by Jeffrey Epstein at 17, feared she would “die a sex slave” at Epstein’s hand, per the BBC, which received an advance copy of her posthumous memoir, “Nobody’s Girl.”
The memoir, released Tuesday, serves as a discussion of surviving abuse, fighting for justice and sufferings at the hands of Epstein and Andrew.
Giuffre describes being a plaything of Epstein and his now-imprisoned right-hand woman Ghislaine Maxwell.
“In my years with them, they lent me out to scores of wealthy, powerful people. I was habitually used and humiliated, and in some circumstances, choked, beaten and bloodied. I believed I might die a sex slave,” the memoir said, via the BBC.
Giuffre reportedly wrote that she was forced to have sex with Andrew, the once favorite son of the late Queen Elizabeth, three times, the first when she was just 17.
She also wrote that should lost a baby during her time being trafficked by Epstein, but made no claims that Andrew or Epstein fathered the child.
Speaking to “Banfield, on Monday night, Josh Schiffer, a criminal defense attorney for several of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers, described the memoir as a “victory” for Giuffre and other Epstein victims.
