King Charles has faced shocking allegations over his behaviour following the tragic death of Princess Diana in a new book.
Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, has alleged Charles “sounded giddily elated — like a lottery winner” when being told of his sister’s death.
Spencer’s remarks on the then-Prince Charles’ reaction came from his new book ‘Swan Song: Diana, My Sister’.
“Unlike my other callers, who were stunned, barely able to articulate their condolences and offers of help, he sounded giddily elated — like a lottery winner, I remember thinking at the time,” Spencer alleged.
